Santa’s on the street
The big man’s in the house. Santa will at Acland Court to collect your wish lists, get some selfies and show off his new favourite Elf. The Fairy Moth will also be there to paint your face for free. You can see Santa on the 15th-16th December, and 22nd-23nd December, 3 pm to 6 pm. His reindeers couldn’t make it, but they’ll be back in action for Christmas Eve deliveries.

Luna Park’s new rides for Christmas
The iconic Luna Park has opened its doors for the summer holiday season and it’ll be better than ever. Speedy Beetle, Betty Choo Choo, and Moon Balloons are joining the list of rides on 22nd December. So, fill up on sugar, try out the new rides and take a happy snap outside the Luna Park big mouth.

Christmas Lunch at Jimmy O’Neill’s Whiskey and Alehouse
Are you feeling the Christmas vibe? Jimmy O’Neill is. Every day in December they’re hosting a Christmas feast. Head down for some authentic turkey and ham roast with all the delicious trimmings for only $27. Bookings required for tables of 8 or email for more info at info@jimmyoneills.com.au.

Acland Court – Bop while you shop
Acland court will be swinging to the sweet tunes and soothing harmonies of live music. It is a free event on the 22nd December 12 pm to 2 pm to get you through that last minute Christmas shop. This event will raise money for the Sacred Heart Mission. So if you can spare some change for the less fortunate, it’ll go a long way to making someone’s Christmas more enjoyable.

Shop Acland Street
St Kilda isn’t all about the food, cakes, and cocktails. Clothing stores, book stores and boutique shops are dotted along Acland Street. And there’s something for everyone. From the soulful shopper to the beach babe to a shirt and tie. And if you’re tired or hungry there are plenty of bars and cafes to stop, refresh and start again.
The John Denver celebration concert
Let’s throwback to the ’70s and 80’s when the easy-going sounds of John Denver made their way into Australian households. And guess what? He’s playing at the historic Palais Theatre in St Kilda on Saturday 22nd December. If you’re desperate to hear Leaving on a Jet Plane, Thank God I’m a Country Boy or Take Me Home Country Roads, this is your chance. He’ll be playing these and more of his famous hits at this nostalgic concert for his fans.

Christmas Lunch at Abbey Rd
Abbey road is dishing up an early Christmas Lunch on the 23rd and 24th of December. Orange glazed roast turkey, honey mustard ham served with veggies, pigs in blankets, cranberry sauce and gravy are on the menu. In other words, all the Christmas good stuff. It’s $39 per person.

The Open Air Cinema
The popular Open Air Cinema is back for summer. Located at the South Beach Reserve, St Kilda, the cinema is the perfect Pre-Christmas event. Watch your favourite flick teamed with a Ladro’s pizza, and washed down with a 4pines craft beer or a cheeky Frose. Don’t worry. Popcorn is available for all the traditional movie folk.

Acland Court Social Santa
That’s right. Santa will be back at the Acland Court shopping centre but this time he’s getting social. Take a selfie with him, ask him a question or two about his North Pole team and make sure you tag him on social media.
You can see him on Saturday the 15th December from 12 pm to 2 pm and have your face painted. He’ll also make an appearance on Saturday the 22nd December from 12 pm to 2 pm where there’ll be live music.
