2016 Grand Final Long Weekend

Did you know Melbourne is internationally known as the sporting capital of the world? It might seem like an exaggeration, but think about it… This weekend we see our city transformed into a flowing swarm of red, blue and white. Streets are filled; restaurants and bars sprawl onto the footpath. Roars of joy and gasps of suspense echo out of venues, whilst the city momentarily stops to witness a group of burly men kick a red ball through some tall white posts.

What are your plans? BBQ with the boys? Bubbly with the girls? This year Acland Street’s got you covered. We have a grand collection of traders putting on a grand final long weekend, not to be missed. Here’s the run down!

The Vineyard – 71A Acland St, St Kilda

The team here are getting into the spirit of the finals, with the new addition of a huge projector screen so you can all enjoy the big game on a big screen. To accompany the entertainment, the chefs here are putting together an outdoor smoked BBQ and a delicious squad of home made pies. Plus the usual cocktail and drinking options, these guys are worth a visit!

That Burger Joint - 221 Barkly St, St Kilda VIC 3182

These guys have got it all, they will be having an event in store, and in their spacious beer garden there will be 2 big screens to watch the match.  Of course they will be grilling up some of St. Kilda’s finest burgers. To get the party started the crew is also offering a free beverage with any burger and chips purchase. More details can be found on their Facebook or Instagram pages "that burger joint Melbourne"

The Village Bell - 202 Barkly St, St Kilda
